An internship opportunity is available within our Communications group’s Web Team. Through this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in an enterprise web team, working closely with our marketing and IT departments to deliver a world-class online suite of member services and advocacy resources.
Regularly update website content to reflect ABA issues, events, community engagement, and other communications.
Review and monitor website content and performance, and work with web team staff to make data-based recommendations for enhancements that engage ABA’s digital audience.
Assist with manual content migration and migration QA, as we move to a new content management system.
Apply content, accessibility, SEO and design standards from our living style guide to standardize content across the site.
Additional duties as assigned.
Experience with Content Management Systems (such as SharePoint, Drupal or WordPress) preferred.
Ability to follow prescribed processes with excellent attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
Junior/senior standing or Graduate student with a degree focus in Computer Science; Web Design or related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA
June 2019 – August 2019
Pay rate is $20.00/hour
Full-time; 37.5 hours per week
