PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Products & Innovation (P&I) is the global research and development department of SAP. Business Insights & Operations is part of the COO team of P&I. The team is responsible for enabling smooth business operations inside P&I and across the various business units, so that P&I reaches its business objectives of innovative growth and profitability, while operating according to leading industry best practices.
Central Research Services (CRS), as part of the P&I Business Insights & Operations team, runs a project management to support collaborative research and innovation projects. CRS provides expertise, dedicated contacts for business units, best practices as well as tools in order to support acquisition, execution and administration of publicly funded projects of SAP in Europe and research projects with academia around the globe.
The successful applicant will gain vast experience in the day-to-day operations of the Central Research Services Team, which focuses on the management and administration of publicly funded projects.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Provide daily administrative support to the CRS Team
Arrange and coordinate meetings/booking of meeting rooms
Manage internal and external correspondence
Manage Workflows and monitoring items like, purchase orders, internal orders, distribution lists, inventory etc.
Support CRS team in routine tasks
Handle ad-hoc tasks and specific topics
Resolving issues with some complexity with limited guidance
Prepare Excel-based management reports
Administrate contracts, signature processes and filing systems (digital and hard copy)
Assist the archiving process in the team
Order and coordinate office supplies
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Student of a university or a university of applied sciences.
Preferred candidates are Bachelor students of lower semesters.
Computer skills: Advanced MS Office
Language skills: Fluent in English and German
Team-oriented and hands-on working style
Reliable, pro-active, open-minded and diligent
Take responsibility and drive operation/administration processes from end-to-end
Very structured, self-directed and organized stile
Takes personal initiative to improve processes and develop new approaches to tasks
Excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize their work
Ability to follow through and complete tasks with high degree of independence
Knowledge of the main internal systems at SAP (such as ISP, CSS, Corporate Portal) is an advantage
Trouble shooting and problem-solving skills will be an advantage
We are looking for a strong team player with a service attitude. The candidate should be a mature, flexible, friendly person.
