Maui Health System Analytics provides data, reporting, and analysis to Maui Health System leaders, managers, and departments. The team turns data from the electronic medical record system and other systems of record into reports and dashboards using Crystal Reports, SQL, and Power BI.
Internship Project/Desired Skill set:
This internship will provide opportunities to understand how MHS leaders use reports by working to document report specifications, test reports, perform ad hoc analysis, and help validate content. This internship requires exposure to and knowledge of relational databases, computer science, and SQL. Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills will be required.
Pursuing a bachelor's degree or have graduated from an accredited university within the last year.
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
3.0 GPA or above.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
