Job Description:

We are looking for a System Analyst to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

This Systems Analyst is an entry-level role working under the close direction of senior team members, and focuses on learning and demonstrating knowledge of established concepts in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business processes and systems aimed at improving Product Quality. In this role you will create and runs reports, develop basic applications, and maintain data system configuration and architecture.

Primary Duties:

  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to present information under close direction from senior team members. Conduct data analysis and prepare findings.

  • Develop and configure basic applications with guidance from senior team members

  • Identify data discrepancies, escalating issues to senior team members when necessary.

  • Raise visibility for findings related to improving Product Quality, escalating issues when appropriate.

  • Participate in issue resolution for production issues under close direction from senior team members.

  • Maintain data quality by evaluating and improving business processes that capture information.

  • Resolve system issues that have been assigned, prioritizing as necessary, and escalate challenges when appropriate.

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing by following test scripts, plans, and procedures. Document test results in a standardized format.

  • Execute project tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Informatics or equivalent combination of education and experience (0-1 years). Master’s degree a plus.

  • Exposure to process optimization methodologies

  • Relevant internship experience with a focus on systems automation and/or process improvement

  • Strong fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Demonstrated history of sustained academic excellence

  • Solid analytical thinking skills

  • Well organized and detail oriented, including the ability to prioritize own tasks

  • Good verbal communication skills that include translating and articulating standard technical jargon into easily understandable concepts

  • Ability to develop organized formal and informal written documentation

  • Strong individual performer that can also maintain a sense of teamwork using good follow-up skills to develop rapport with others and recognize their concerns

  • Willingness and enthusiasm for self-paced learning and personal development of new skills and tools

  • Some knowledge of querying databases, such as SQL
