Greenway Health Summer 2019 Social Media & Internal Communications Intern in United States

The program includes a number of individual internship opportunities, while the cohort format encourages networking in addition to work experience and competitive pay. The program is designed specifically to help us find full-time talent for future opportunities.

The Social Media and Internal Communications internship contributes directly to our online branding and employment branding efforts, while helping to create and drive the strategy and infrastructure for our internal communications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with social media manager to create, edit, and publish content across Greenway Health’s social media networks, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

  • Assist with creation of social media content calendar using Greenway Health’s social media content management platform from a third-party vendor (Falcon.io)

  • Take photos and videos at Greenway Health events for publication on social media.

  • In collaboration with the content team, create and edit internal communications outreach to team members such as email blasts, newsletters, and additional outreach.

Minimum Requirements

  • Have completed at least your sophomore year working toward an undergraduate degree, in good academic standing

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Tech savvy and strong initiative to learn

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of how to use Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint skills relevant to business

  • Advanced knowledge of social media networks

  • Basic understanding of social media content system

  • Strong relationship-building and customer service orientation
