Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position serves as a specialist in the Information Services Area of the Registrar’s Office and is charged with assisting with all aspects of scheduling and registration related to the Fall and Spring and Summer schedule of classes for on-campus course offerings at the graduate and undergraduate level. This person also assists current and prospective students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff utilizing knowledge of university policies and procedures; processes registrations and resolves problems with student registrations; works with student records including enrollment verifications, transcripts, Audit Forms, Pass/Fail forms, Late Adds and Drops, Retro-Active Adds and Drops, Special Course Forms, and internships; accepts and prepares the Intent Not to Return report; processes name, SSN and date of birth changes; interprets discrepancy reports and corrects errors; has accounts receivable duties; conducts research at the request of the National Student Clearinghouse.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer graduation from a four year college or university and a demonstrated possession of knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through experience as office assistant or customer service in an office environment; experience working in a university setting and/or experience working in a high-traffic office as well as previous Banner experience; and experience working in higher education student services highly preferred.

Prefer experience with serving multicultural populations.
