Graphic Design / Presentation Development Intern

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work directly with Cvent’s Award-Winning Creative team to assist presentation, video, print and web projects that align with Cvent’s corporate brand, strategies, goals and initiatives. We’re looking for an intern who’s smart, enthusiastic, fun, and has an engaging personality to fit with our colorful Creative Team, and who’s detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and willing to go the extra mile.

This is a paid internship. We ask that candidate start immediately.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Primary responsibility is to assist the Corporate Presentations Project Leader in designing and editing corporate presentations for sales and marketing using MS PowerPoint and supporting tools including Photoshop + Illustrator, Premiere and AfterEffects.

  • Secondary responsibility is to provide production level design support for marketing projects that include email designs, social graphics, and collateral that is reflective of the Cvent brand or a designated campaign look and feel

  • Produce unique designs for internal teams in HR and Sales

  • Provide research support for design initiatives and format assets and reports for the Design Manager or Creative Director

  • Organize assets on creative team’s file sharing platform to optimize production for all creative teams

  • For presentation design – a key component of the role - the resource must first understand the slide’s overall communicated message and then find more effective visual methods of conveying the information, with a balanced focus on efficiency and creativity.

What You Need for this Position

  • Ability to work 20-25 hours per week

  • Seeking current student or recent grad with a degree in graphic design or related field; secondary skillset in Communications or Journalism

  • Strong skills in page design, layout, and typography

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

  • Savvy, conceptual thinker with exceptional attention to detail

  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite programs and Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in PowerPoint / Keynote with work samples

  • After Effects and Premiere Pro skills a HUGE PLUS!
