The Hertz Corporation Marketing Executive – Air France Partnerships in Uxbridge, United Kingdom

General Responsibilities

This position will provide support for the strategic marketing relationships with French speaking airline partners, namely Air France, Flying Blue & Hop! These partners form Hertz’ biggest European partnership and the purpose of this position is to support the marketing & sales team todrive revenue, secure brand exposure, develop products and services that differentiate, achieve member growth and increased loyalty whilst continuously improving partnership integration. This will include supporting the development and implementation of the multi-channel marketing plan, creation and implementation of marketing campaigns, tracking, analysis and reporting of results and continuous partnership development and improvement, to mutual benefit.

Marketing Executive – Air France Group Partnerships reporting to Marketing Manager Strategic Airline Partnerships

What you'll do

  • Support the AF partnership team at Hertz in the execution of the annual marketing plan for all group partners.

  • Promotional campaign creation and implementation – that form part of annual marketing plan and to support business needs.

  • Liaising with pricing and revenue management teams, development of creative and content briefs, liaising with design and operational marketing teams for execution, managing translation briefs with corporate and franchise markets and communication with relevant internal stakeholders, etc.

  • Management of promotional content for all partners in MiRES and Hertz microsites via relevant CMS and liaison with key country teams to ensure that reciprocal visibility is secured in Hertz channels for larger campaigns, including hertz.com, eDM’s, POS, etc.

  • Tracking of all promotional campaigns and working with analytics team to analyse data and results using output to make any necessary changes in future campaigns. Running ad-hoc reports using Cognos and other data tools for bespoke requests and providing monthly data for performance reporting as needed.

  • Work with manager to ensure optimal customer journey for all partners. Identify any gaps and content improvements to ensure improved CX via all touch points through the entire customer journey from research to post trip/rental, to ensure maximum exposure for the Hertz brand and to generate maximum revenue.

  • Regular review of competitor activity, especially for Flying Blue (multi supplier relationship) and monitor, track and feedback all other partner activity, alerting partnership team to any significant changes or major campaign activity that may have a detrimental impact on Hertz.

  • Regular audit of MiRES V2 booking platform for AF and eventually for Hop! With ongoing attention to MiRES V1 for Hop! In interim period, plus audit of FB microsite for accuracy of content and display.

  • As required carry out competitor rate canvassing, etc., on AF Group sites plus employee/staff benefit channels.

  • Supporting AF partnership team with event management (internal & external) and preparation of supporting POS & marketing materials.

  • Day to day responsibility for processing of AF Group invoices, raising PO’s and liaising with accounting for any payment queries.

  • Internal communications – support manager toinform and engage all stakeholders including; SMT, operations, sales, marketing, HESC, international and franchise markets

  • Liaison between Hertz partnership and digital teams and AF social/digital teams to optimise all opportunities for exposure and promotion of key campaigns and messages. This to include the creation of campaigns to drive traffic to booking sites, increase conversion and generate revenue. Source regular content for Travel by Air France destination platform and liaise with this team at AF.

  • Work with CRM team to ensure clear and efficient processes for status matching and roll out of FB Ultimate programme and benefits. Improve CX as needed on Hertz sites/

  • Ensure reciprocal visibility for AF Group partners in GPR local and Pan European eDM’s for key campaigns and news. Optimise available customer data, segmentation, behaviour and analysis

  • Be ready to take a proactive approach to optimising last minute visibility to support business needs.

What you'll need

  • A degree or business qualification/diploma in marketing

  • Experience in an online, offline or digital marketing team.

  • A background of working with an international travel brand would be an advantage and experience of working in an international environment also a plus. This could also be as part of a marketing or business internship, which will also be considered.

  • Any knowledge of partnerships as a distribution channel or experience in creating marketing plans and executing marketing and promotional campaigns, sales promotion activity, etc., an advantage.

  • Understanding and identification of the online (and offline) customer journey and delivering a positive customer experience is required.

  • The ability to track, analyse and report data is key. Target driven with the ability to maximise conversion and revenue from every touch point.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • International experience an advantage

  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven, business unit

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French – verbal and written
