Position Overview

The J&J family is looking for enthusiastic and driven student leaders to join our team as a Marketing Interns in our Toronto office in three key business areas:

  • The internships will run for a four-month period beginning in May 2019 and will give you the opportunity to support and lead commercial projects within a Janssen business unit.

  • The areas of focus for our summer internships are as follows:

  • Marketing

  • Developing customer/market/patient understanding to uncover meaningful and actionable insights

  • Developing specific sales materials and tools aligned to brand strategic marketing plans

  • Conducting customer, business and financial analyses to uncover opportunities

  • Contributing to innovative and value-added customer-focused marketing programs

  • Participating in the development of revenue forecasts, business plans and sales meetings

  • Performance Excellence

  • Increasing the utilization of sales data to enhance customer engagement across all Janssen Pharmaceutical business units

  • Participating in the development of selling skills processes and training programs

  • Optimizing sales business planning and customer planning

  • Driving sales performance through training and coaching initiatives and measure progress & ROI on recently deployed field training

  • Analytics & Data Governance

  • Development and maintenance of a comprehensive customer database ensuring effective integration of key customer intelligence from a variety of sources.

  • Evolving and managing cross functional processes to ensure data integrity and compliance across a numerous and diverse user community.

  • Providing user support and training across this community for CRM and other related J&J platforms.

  • Champion the use of data to drive decision making across the organization.

  • Throughout your internship you will be exposed to world class experts who will guide your learning through daily support, mentorship and constructive feedback.

Qualifications

  • You are a student in good standing, working towards the completion of an MBA or related graduate degree

  • Excellent verbal, presentation and communication skills, and a strong ability to collaborate and partner are required.

  • You must be able to work independently, have strong project management and organizational skills, strong financial and business acumen, the ability to build rapport and relationships, and possess well developed analytical abilities.
