Position Purpose and Summary
Being part of the6-monthsFinance Internship Program of Cargill Business Service Sofia for 6 months you are an essential part of Cargill’s European Finance organization, working closely with the finance accountants in three different processes like Record to Report, Credit to Cash and Procure to Pay. You will learn and perform “live” accounting activities based on the needs and requirements of the Business units of Cargill in Europe, Middle East and Afrika.
Procure to Pay responsibilities:
Submit requests to update supplier records (name, address, bank account information)
Research and problem-solve supplier enquiries received regarding Accounts Payable issues
Verification of data changes in line with Cargill Payment Control Standards
Analyzing aging of supplier account credits
Record to Report responsibilities:
Support in Balance sheet reconciliation process
Support any transactional activities depending on the need
Credit to Cash responsibilities:
Prepare ageing reports (Monitoring & Reporting process)
Follow up on exposures past due with customers (Collections and Disputes Management process)
Analyze counterparties’ financials (Credit Limit Approval process)
Analyze credit/ market limits consistency between ERPs and Credit Management systems (Data Integrity process)

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Academic background in Finance & Accounting or Economics – preferable in the 3rd or 4th year
Good skills both written and spoken in English
Interest to work in an ambiguous environment and with colleagues located in a remote office
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, execute and track progress
Fluency in other foreign language is an advantage
