The Student Success Manager supports the academic partnership between Compass Group, specifically Chartwells Higher Education Dining, and the colleges and universities they serve. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties. Identifying potential future interns with the ability to understand the academic mission of the students across different majors and develop and support unique and meaningful ways these students can take on internships with our Company. With their focus being to stay engaged on campus, gain valuable work experience to build their resume and graduate on time. This role will work under our Director of Training and Student Success to continue to build a relationship beyond just food service with our partners, and build a talent pipeline.
HOME OFFICE BASED POSITION, MUST LIVE NEAR MAJOR AIRPORT - 70% TRAVEL
Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities (ex: weekly webinars, social media platforms, intern communication) Manage Student Success across all Chartwells regions (client interests, Compass Halo support, program requests)
Manage internship Smartsheet and other internal record keeping documents and programs
Support Student Success in new sales or retention initiatives (ex: proposal write-ups, attend presentations, account visits for research, academic faculty meetings, research campus academic profile)
Track all graduating interns and communicate opportunities staring 6 weeks in advance, working with the Compass Group Talent Acquisition team.
Work with Campus Programs for graduating interns MIT pipeline who are in fields: Culinary, Management, Wellness, Catering, Retail
Manage Student Success website
Support growth and program development
Follow up with interns and mentors and collect feedback (ex: exit interviews, testimonials)
Manage the Student Success Steering Committee. Work with these individuals to communicate with each region regarding the program needs, best practices and celebrations.
Up to 70% travel
Maintain metrics that provide effectiveness of the program to the business
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proven experience as program coordinator or relevant position in the fields of teaching or hospitality management.
Proficient in the use of WebEx, various social media platforms, Microsoft Word and Excel
Interest in training, growth and development
Ability to work with diverse populations and cultures and multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Detail oriented and efficient
Availability to travel (up to 70%)
