The assignment would consist of supporting our Quality Clinic and the management of non-conforming hardware. Students would be trained on the SAP Material Management System, quality notices, relentless root cause tools, material dispositions, Supplier Quality management tools and various other Operations processes supporting the manufacturing of Aerospace hardware. A special project would be assigned during the internship period to generate learning opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft technical reports and compile information into PowerPoint, summaries, and work orders to use by other staff and management

  • Employ computer analysis methods to analyze or modify designs in compliance with regulations

  • Conduct multiple experimental trials and stress tests on prototypes of aircraft and aerospace systems & equipment

  • Calculate mathematical models to assist with evaluating equipment

  • Run various tests on integrated systems as well as electrical and mechanical equipment

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA or above

  • Must have completed at least 30 credit hours of college coursework

Education: Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
