Position Summary and Project Details:
As part of the Strategy Team you will support business growth and management, cross-business initiatives, analyze SEA’s Market Share, and provide insights into our competitor’s performance.
This summer you will have the exciting opportunity to work on a project of strategic importance to Executive Management. The plan will analyze a situation, identify strategic considerations and risks to the business, and identify actions Samsung should take to maintain its leadership position in the face of the situation. You will be expected to work with Executive Management, as well as a broad cross-section of stakeholders which may include Product Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance.
General Duties include but are not limited to:
Analyze competitive business performance from a market perspective and help develop strategies/tactics
Provide critical analytical support for business decision-making involving cross-departmental and multi-functional areas
Assess business cases and strategic options based on industry insights, internal capabilities, financial models, and ROI analysis
Provide accurate and insightful analysis of various aspects of industry and market that are actionable and used by relevant departments across the division

Skills and Qualifications
Passion for improving consumer electronics experience and bringing technology to market
Strong communication skills
Attuned to a teamwork environment, fast-paced rhythm, and a results-oriented culture
Strong analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to analyze customer research data, hard data and metrics
High proficiency of Microsoft Office is required with an emphasis on quantitative analysis (Excel) and the creation of presentations (PowerPoint)
Self-starter with desire to learn and contribute
Consulting (internal or external) experience a plus
Must be enrolled in an accredited University
Proper work authorization
Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
Attend New Hire Orientation on first day
