Job Description

The GM Resident Engineer is the primary onsite customer contact for all Bosch CC-AS related questions. S/he will act as the technical interface between customer and internal technical project teams requiring strong communication skills. S/he will diagnose vehicle issues and support prototype and production plant builds. Re-flashing vehicles to latest level software will also be required as well as some periodic vehicle testing to support customer DARE validation and possibly VTC (Vehicle Test Catalogue) testing to support SW validation. S/he will support the Applications team in getting access to packaging data and other key customer technical information. Project Management duties will include understanding key customer project milestones and completing needed project specific documentation according to specified processes. Customer plant support required during new project launch phase or field support requests. Engineering Work Orders will need to be written to document/approve product changes in the GM releasee system.


Basic Qualifications

*Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ME or EE).

*1 or more years of experience supporting the automotive industry in an engineering role (experience can include internships or co-op).

Preferred Qualifications

*Strong verbal and written communication skills.

*Team oriented working style and hands on approach to problem solving.

*Strong customer/negotiation skills.

*Valid Driver’s License

*High energy and driven to succeed.
