Job Description

Come intern with Intel's Strategic Planning organization. Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role, U.S. experience and education requirements. Job assignments may be for the summer or for short periods throughout the school year.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a BS in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

  • This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

  • Minimum of 3-6 months demonstrated experience with analyzing and summarizing large quantities of data using Excel or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3-6 months experience with Project Management Principles.

  • Minimum of 3-6 months experience with MS Suite of applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

  • Working knowledge of the principles of mechanical design, machining, and robotics.

  • Working knowledge of Database applications MS Access, MS SQL.
