Job Description

Job Scope may include equipment data analytics, capacity modeling, layout design, project management, simulation, time and motion studies, and other facets of factory design and process improvement. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Be pursuing an MS or PhD degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.

  • 6+ months of experience in statistical analysis, data mining and Excel Microsoft.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in the following areas:

Data visualization, Power BI, Tableau, Machine Learning, database usage and scripting languages, VBA, SQL, R, Python, Lean process improvement, Business Process mapping, Systems Thinking, time studies, equipment capacity modeling/simulation, constraint identification, Operations Research
