JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Description We are searching for an Architectural Information Representative position who will work primarily with the commercial sales team to grow the commercial business through architectural and specifier contacts and commercial roofer interactions. This team, part of the inside sales force, will help meet or exceed the monthly sales plan, increase overall profitability, and increase customer satisfaction. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: * Increase the number of successful project sales and partner with the outside sales force to work projects from prospect to close. * Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and specification information in a timely manner to direct and indirect customers. * Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions. * Recommend alternate products based on profitability, availability and specifications. * Proactively "sell" items needed by customers to increase profitability and customer satisfaction; identify any and all opportunities for the outside sales organization. * Utilize CRM to track, update and communicate projects to the outside sales team; keep detailed notes and pass information on existing and potential customers and projects. * Sell features and benefits of products in order to increase sales and customer satisfaction. * Fill request for submittals including samples. * Setup and maintain customer files in CRM. REQUIREMENTS: * High School Diploma with 1- 3 years of relevant work experience (co-op, internship, or job). High level of roofing knowledge. * Proficiency with CRM, website reporting metrics (Click Dimensions), and other related systems and software as well as proficiency with the use of third party reporting services such as Reed and Dodge. * Working knowledge of customer preferences and product developments and order life cycle. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively with other members of the sales team. * Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task. Excellent telephone sales as well as organizational and presentation skills. * Proficiency in MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft CRM.
