JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Intern will assist in a variety of areas including our supplier base, test, manufacturing, sales floor, control test, exercising, pre-ship, deprocessing, customer fielding and service/warranty. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Maintain a positive, professional working relationship with all customers. 2.Responsible for supporting Quality Department Staff. 3.Review and update quality documentation. 4.Actively participate in group and team meetings. 5.Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to correct and prevent quality issues. 6.Assist staff with the disposition of defective material. 7.Participate in quality audits internally and externally. 8.Assist in supplier quality and process control. 9.Conduct root causes analysis on quality issues. 10.Report and respond to quality process nonconformance issues in an expedient manner. 11.Work inter-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing to solve problems and implement solutions to quality related issues. 12.Must be willing to complete additional advanced training/educational courses as required. 13.Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures. 14.Conduct MSA studies 15.Improve quality dashboards, reports and charts with Cognos. 16.All other duties or projects as assigned. Graduation date after May 2019. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. These are co-op opportunities, which means this individual must be willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for 6-7 months starting in January 2019 or May/June 2019.
