JOB REQUIREMENTS: OVERVIEW The Bemis EDGE Program (Enhanced Development & Growth in Engineering) is a 2-3 year program that will build your technical acumen and provide you with a forward-looking career path. The program offers you the opportunity to move through training and development stages specifically focused on preparing you for success in your first Process Engineer role. The stages are designed for you to gain comprehensive training in process, materials and methodology, while establishing a broad network of technical resources and participating in exclusive projects. As an active member of the EDGE Program, you will gain exposure to a variety of engineering insights, such as: Research & Development Projects Customer Trials Manufacturing Processes & Equipment Optimization Capital Justification & Design Process Foundational Materials Knowledge Project Management Training Leading Cross-Functional Teams Green Belt Training Leading Continuous Improvement Projects A PROGRAM FOR SUCCESS This program will ensure you're developing as an engineering leader with coaching, networking and training opportunities. In addition, you will have a mentor to coach and share regular feedback to improve your skills. In order to enhance your engineering experiences, the program consists of the following phases: R&D Process Engineer: Build your foundation as a member of the R&D Process Development Team Acquire and apply training through critical experiences in cost take out, capital, commercial, and continuous improvement projects Mentorship in Manufacturing: Receive technical mentoring in your manufacturing role Build business and manufacturing acumen and develop a relationship with a seasoned leader Full-Time Process Engineer: Transition into an independent process engineer with strong technical and business acumen Drive continuous improvement initiatives and leverage skills and resources toward improving profitability ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS For consideration, applicants need to meet the following qualifications: Four-year degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial preferred) Willing to relocate anywhere within the United States Strong written and oral communication skills Strong leadership and teamwork skills Previously held engineering co-op or internship Enjoy solving problems in a high paced manufacturing environment ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online:
