IPG Tax Technology Intern in New York, New York

Description

Responsibilities after in-depth training will include but not limited to:

  • Provide light break/fix support
  • Liaison between Tax users and local IT to get technical issues resolved
  • Mentor users in Microsoft Office 2013 functionality and Office 365
  • Ability to troubleshoot Excel formula issues
  • Managing and maintaining all tax specific software which includes:
  • User access and security
  • Requesting tax software updates
  • Liaison between tax users and vendors in submitting and resolving of all tax software issues
  • Maintaining data consistency between software systems
  • Act as the central solution of all data imports and exports from various systems
  • Ability to mentor tax users in tax tool functionality
Qualifications
  • College junior or senior majoring in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Strong Excel, SAP, Hyperion skills preferred
  • VBA skills a plus
  • Good analytical skills
  • Familiarity with tax software a plus (i.e. Onesource, Wolters Kluwer Fixed Asset Manager)
  • Detailed-oriented, writing/documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Long Term Internship - must be available for part-time internship during the school year and full-time internship in the summer and winter breaks
