Boeing’s Research and Rapid Development Lab department leads the research effort within Boeing’s Global Services organization offering you the chance of an internship, diploma-, bachelor- or master thesis.
Internal crowdsourcing within large organizations can promote innovation and collaborative efforts leading to an additional accelerator for growth and speed to market. Our Research and Rapid Development department is investigating concepts centered on internal crowdsourced innovation in order to grow and positively influence product development cycles by building upon prior knowledge, efforts, and interests of employees. The topic will look to evaluate current best practices of internal and external crowdsourcing models, incentive models, and implementation strategy and risk. A model compatible to Boeing’s values and working environment will be proposed as an outcome and suggested for implementation.
Research and understand existing crowdsourcing models
Evaluate Boeing’s working environment, values, collaboration models, and product development structure
Understand risks and implementation strategies for crowdsourcing models
Develop a model for implementation from industry best practices and theoretical models
You are studying in the field of one of the following themes: Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation
Understanding in the basics of innovation, crowdsourcing, and/or product development
Interest in incentive models to stimulate active participation
You are able to communicate with stakeholders in English and German
You will be located in Neu-Isenburg, Germany
