Program Overview The ABRC internship program is focused on progressive skill growth. Interns develop an understanding of ABRC as an organization and how the employee benefits, business insurance and human resources industries impact our day-to-day work. Our 10-week internship includes accelerated education modules, and a view of all aspects of insurance. You will contribute to weekly learning activities and apply your new knowledge to your daily work. Along with your formal instructions at ABRC, you will also work alongside our ABRC managers and service teams. The goal of the internship is to provide valuable, practical experience applicable to real life, coursework and career planning. Qualifications Requirements Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent; sophomore or junior standing in a business, liberal arts or related degree. Minimum Experience: Previous intern or job experience is helpful; courses reflecting an aptitude for the insurance industry and/or business. Special Skill Requirements: Advanced abilities in Microsoft products. Ability to learn our client relationship management system and apply learning to projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
