The Role The internship will run from approximately mid-May through approximately mid-September. This is a paid, full-time temporary summer internship. 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday for approximately 13 weeks. The role will support the Big Data and Analytics team to assist in the creation of a company database. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or any STEM field with a particular focus on computation. Key Accountabilities Collaborate with teams within the Korn Ferry Institute to combine data from endogenous and exogenous sources to facilitate the creation of a company database Assist the Big Data and Analytics team with data analysis using Python or R Interpret trends and patterns in data, producing interpretable, meaningful, and compelling insights based on the data. Create marketing-oriented materials synthesizing data and upload to internal client analytics website. Related tasks as needed (analyzing or manipulating data for ad hoc requests, assisting in research, etc.). Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in STEM field with focus on programming and computation 1 - 2 years of experience with Python, SQL, database management, working with APIs Strong data analysis capability. Ability to interpret, extract, manipulate, and combine data, as well as display data visually. Understanding of core measurement statistics, including percentiles and standard scores (e.g. z-scores). An affinity and demonstrated skill for data analyses A burning desire to produce well-written and documented code Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and to manage own time Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint Demonstrated ability to document and explain information in a written form, using technical terms and standard English Other APPLICATION INFORMATION Korn Ferry offers a competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience.
