Job Description

The Consumer Development Team is responsible for developing the existing PayPal users base in Italy by driving consumer engagement and acquisition. As part of the team, you will contribute to expanding PayPal presence among Italian consumers.

You will be the voice of Italian consumers within PayPal and you will help to coordinate local needs with the global go-to-market strategy. You will have strong communication and organizational skills combined with the knowledge of Italian market. You will get the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and presentation skills at international level.

Core responsibilities:

  • Execution of Consumer plans, with constant interactions and alignment with supporting teams (marketing, product and analytics),

  • Reporting and presenting your findings to the management team,

  • Identifing and analyzing key market and consumer trends and defining consumer-centric value proposition,

  • As a specific project to deliver at the end of the Internship, you will be in charge of an Assessment Project on ‘Daily Spending within PayPal’: mapping consumer behaviors and trends to highlight potential opportunities for PayPal,

Experience & Qualifications required:

  • Previous experience in Financial Services or Consulting

  • Familiarity with the eCommerce market and dynamic

  • Educated to Bachelors Degree level preferable

  • Fluency in Italian and English

Skills & Abilities required:

  • Good team player with a collaborative approach and ability to forge constructive relationships quickly

  • Ability to work independently in a structured yet flexible environment,

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Sense of humor
