Basic Purpose

Our ISD intern program offers college students an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the financial sector, while assisting us to provide the high quality support that our members deserve. To be eligible for this position you must currently be enrolled in an accredited university and willing to learn and combine theoretical knowledge with hands on experience while developing his or her professional skills. This is a year-round internship.Major Responsibilities:1.The candidate that is hired for the available Field3 Intern position will be required to lift PC’s, printers (large and small), scanners, monitors and other equipment that is in need of installation and or replacement. The sole function of the intern position is to handle common installation items so that they are removed from the filed technician’s assignment plate, freeing them up to assist customer with more pressing technical issues. This is a position that requires and individual that is capable of self-management with the ability to perform with minimal oversight as they carry out daily assignments. When the opportunity presents itself the field technicians will provide extra training to the intern enabling them to take on and resolve more challenging technical issues.2. General· Performs work in support of assigned IT group -duties may vary depending on assignment· Applies knowledge gained from degree program in day-to-day duties/responsibilities· May receive guidance and direction from management and / or senior-level staff· Leverage technical knowledge and skill· Works within established standards, change control, policies and procedures· Provides exceptional customer service3.
