There are several big projects at GE Healthcare Lindesnes site now and until 2020. These are capacity projects for existing products, and a big environmental project with installation and commissioning of equipment which shall reduce emission to air and water. Project P-1154 Zero Emission contains of biological treatment plant, evaporation equipment and Electro Dialysis (ED) plant. GEHC Lindesnes site is complex and has high level of automation.
The different departments cooperate with other disciplines which facilitate to get the most optimal operating production facility.
We seek a person who wants to be part of process optimization and extending capacity with use of the sites process control systems and other industrial data systems. And wants to be part of developing these systems together with Digitization department.
Key responsibilities include:
Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues developing advanced manufacturing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production
Work with manufacturing leadership to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design
Follow-up trouble-shooting in manufacturing areas with process systems
Use of advanced analyse tools/systems to obtain focus areas as EHS, GMP, Brilliant Factory and Lean
Monitor and improve productivity through the use of lean tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner
Drive rigor in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling and equipment development
Clearly understand existing processes in order to provide support for manufacturing process technology roadmap
Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation
Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis
Criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance
Help execute continuous simplification of QMS methods and their applications by working with cross-functional team including Operations and Quality Assurance
Work with the facilities and maintenance team to implement change and ensure the required product capacity is in place before it is required by customer demand
MSc/BSc Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related technical degree, or an Associates Degree and strong experience in production, engineering or troubleshooting of PC/server based systems, or High School diploma with significant experience in production, engineering or troubleshooting of PC/server based systems
Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and planning skills
Ability to work independently
Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal)
English and Norwegian language written and fluently
Co-op or internship experience in Manufacturing Engineering
Experience in Process Intensive manufacturing
Product and Process Development experience
Solid working knowledge of QMS procedures for GMP
Experienced developing tools and templates
Demonstrated program or project management skills
Demonstrated experience owning production processes / growing capability in yield and quality
Experience working with global teams
