About the Job
In this position, you will become a retention expert! You’ll split your time between inbound and outbound calls with our customer base to resolve issues and secure updated service level agreements, utilizing new technology to facilitate the outreach process. You will learn effective negotiation techniques that will enable you to “Save, secure, and convert” customers who want to cancel their contracts with us, thus becoming a save specialist!

You love using the phone and are passionate about working in a relaxed call center environment. You love to not only talk with people, but want to truly help them. We’re looking for a customer champion - someone who wants to listen to their needs and find ways that we can continue to service them better than anyone else in the industry.
About the Team
You’d be working for an awesome manager, Holly Botyos (feel free to look her up on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/holly-botyos-53b366/) who has had a wonderful tenure with WM. Holly realizes that being on the phone all day can take its toll, which is why she adds variety to the work schedule. She allows time for follow-up with customers and outbound calls. She believes in a fun and engaging work environment, too. The team has potluck lunches every month. She awards recognition points for helping out, or just being a team player. Around the holidays, she has a fun event. This year, they enjoyed an amazing dinner and played at Top Golf! She likes to do little surprises for the team. Holly has created a fun, and winning, work culture.
About our Minimum Requirements
At a minimum, you will need to have a High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
About our Preferred Requirements
We’d prefer that you have at least one year of inside sales and/or customer service, ideally in a call center. If you’re a recent college graduate with no working experience, we’d love to see some initiative from your college years, like internships or participating in groups or clubs that show your ability to take ownership of a project or situation and how you thrived.

We’ll provide you with a competitive hourly rate and incentive plan that will motivate you to retain customers. While you’re going through training, a portion of your target incentive compensation (target commissions) will be guaranteed as you ramp up (which is pretty awesome!).
