Expected hire date is August of 2019. The UAS business program is an ACBSP accreditation candidate and the program is seeking to obtain accreditation within the next two years. Applicants seeking a balance of teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities will find a collegiate work environment. Duties: 100%Primary duties are to teach four undergraduate courses each fall and spring semester in an online format, or face-to-face during the day and/or evening. Faculty are expected to hold a minimum reasonable number of office hours per week, advise and mentor students, and be proactive and collaborative in developing and modifying curriculum. In addition, candidates will participate in departmental and university service, as well as public service, and will engage in continuing professional development. Essential Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Qualified to teach in one or more areas of accounting as well as financial management at the undergraduate level. Ability to coordinate internships with local employers and be an effective faculty advisor to accounting program students. Outstanding teaching and excellent communication skills are required.
