Type of Employment:
The primary goals of the Lilly- CLD Summer Experience (LCSE) are to provide a highly select group of academically accomplished undergraduate college students entering their freshman or sophomore year of college an introduction to a corporate environment and earn money for post-high school education. The objective is to support areas that need additional staffing during the summer months. These areas are generally operational, such as manufacturing, IT, HR, marketing,research laboratories, and offices.
Note: The objectives should not be confused with those of the intern program. The Lilly CLD Summer Experience assignments require basic skill levels such as Microsoft office suite and have basic job responsibilities while internships are intended to provide career-related work experience.
Students must meet the following criteria:
Be at least 18 years old by May1, 2017
Must be a high school graduateand currently enrolled and/or planning to attend a 4 year college at the end ofthe summer.Possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a4.0 scale in HS/College.Qualified candidates must belegally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does notanticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TNstatus) for this employment position
Be able to provide proof ofidentity and eligibility to work.
Successfully complete a drugscreen provided by the company as well as pass a personal background check.
Be able to work 40 hours per weekfor the duration of 10 weeks.
Be able to begin work on one ofthe available start dates (May 10, June 17, June 1)
Provide their own transportationto work
Students will be required to submit a resume during the application process
