Occasional weekend and after hours work I normal. Communication with global contacts is also required, often resulting in early morning or late evening phone conferences. Position requires extensive collaboration, so it is an office based role. Flex working arrangements are possible on an as-needed basis.Education Requirements: College or university Bachelor's degree in a marketing or communications related field.Technical SkillsMinimum 2 years of experience in an industry marketing, event planning or communications role. Internship experience will be considered. Knowledge or practical experience in the Construction and/or Mining business; or in a similar B2B type of business Demonstrated ability to develop and execute detailed plans and logistics Proficiency in use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) and in general use of email and web communicationsSoft SkillsAbove average verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
