MITRE - Huntsville invites you to work in the exciting field of missile defense. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to:
1. Work in a self-paced, laboratory environment where personal initiative and innovative thinking is required to achieve ground-breaking results.
2. Work within a small team of focused and energetic senior engineers to develop new modeling techniques applicable to missile defense.
Key functions include evaluating data and analytical solutions to determine optimal use for maximizing value to the customer, conducting exploratory data analysis and research, developing tools and techniques for a specific solution, and document detailed findings – all related to real-life missile defense problems.

Qualified applicants are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline and maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
Preferred qualifications include experience working as part of a small team and on-your-own, proficiency in C, C , C#, Python, or Java with the willingness and ability to quickly learn and apply additional languages, proficiency using MATLAB, and familiarity with and/or willingness to learn battle management, missile physics, and/or radar fundamentals.
