Northrop Grumman is seeking Systems & Test Engineers to join the Technology Services Intern Program. This position will be located in Ogden or Hill AFB, Utah
The selected candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) team supporting the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications.
The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other developers.
Roles and Responsibilities
Apply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications
Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical and integrated systems
Perform requirements analysis, develop source data for requirements, generate test requirements and prepare test reports
Verify specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis
Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements
Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for the systems engineering function
Interface with Air Force customer
Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2019
Be majoring in Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2019
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
