HomeAdvisor’s Interactive Communications team is responsible for building and maintaining the company intranet, facilitating internal communications, supporting our Employee Engagement team activities (including documenting all the fun in picture form), recruiting advertising needs, and working across the business to support other big initiatives requiring internal communication.
As an intern, you will learn what it takes to build and maintain a successful internal communications platform. You’ll get hands-on experience with WordPress as we update and build out new functionality in our Intranet site, as well as experience working with Photoshop. You’ll get to be part of some of our biggest summer employee events, and learn what logistics are needed for big events when it comes to media.
What it takes to handle this position:
Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Strong project management and organizational skills
Must have excellent written communication skills, and be extremely detail oriented
High aptitude for learning new skills and the willingness to tackle new challenges
Familiarity and comfort within the Microsoft Office suite
Past experience with WordPress and/or Photoshop is a plus
Photography experience is a plus

This is a paid internship opportunity for the summer of 2018. This internship is slated to last about 10 weeks, is a full-time, 40 hours per week position, and will require work from our headquarters in Golden, CO. We do not have travel or housing stipends available for out-of-town candidates, so you must be willing to cover your own living expenses if you are not in the Denver area.
