The Talent Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting talent acquisition and employee development at Almo. From recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing development this role will execute on the strategic initiatives and bring their own creativity to projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learning and Development: Responsible for coordinating and supporting learning and development programs to enhance the effectiveness of employee knowledge and performance in achieving the goals of Almo.
Drive usage for Biz Library Learning Management System (LMS) through internal marketing and communication; system administration
Marketing, administration, and execution of 'Pop-up' / Peer-to-peer Learning Network
Support and coordinate the Summer Intern program
Event support and logistics
Managing handoff of new hire and ensure effective onboarding process
Recruiting: Responsible for coordinating and supporting recruiting programs and initiatives to attract best-in-class talent throughout all functions of Almo's business lines.
System administration for My Staffing Pro Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Sourcing, screening, and submitting candidates for Hiring Manager review
Running lead on University Relations: event coordination, employer branding, relationship management
Support Human Resources team with managing agency relationships for high volume, hourly recruitment efforts
Community relations for overall recruitment strategy
Job offer generation for warehouse staffing
Onboarding and Orientation: Responsible for standardizing onboarding and orientation of new hires
Enter new personnel into HRIS and LMS
Organize Territory Account Manager orientations
Provide manager onboarding tools
Coordinator with other departments to ensure a smooth transition to Almo
Communicate available resources to new employees
Coordinate new hire events, such as quarterly breakfasts
Follow-up with new employees and regular intervals
Drive usage of new hire tools, such as the Learning Path and LMS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related major
1-2 years of work experience in Human Resources or related field; internship experience will be considered
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office. (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills will be highly regarded)
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
Must have excellent follow up skills and sense of urgency
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
Ability to work with all levels of the organization, including top level (leadership)
Up to 15% travel required
