The Technical Project Analyst intern will assist with various projects supporting the WDI Technology Studio. This Studio is a group of technologists working within Imagineering to create and deploy software tools that help increase the capabilities of Imagineering. The WDI Tech Studio is the production side of WDI within the R&D group, and is primarily focused on stability, robustness, and operational efficiency. Additionally, Technical Project Managers (TPMs) within the Tech Studio work on delivering software that integrates into upcoming Disney Park experiences.
Play a significant part in managing one or more technical projects using whatever methodology is required
Perform project management analytics and draw management insights
Set up, plan and execute testing efforts on one or more technical projects in Glendale or in the field.
Basic Qualifications :
Demonstrated experience with different PM methodologies including Waterfall and implementations of Agile (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.)
Demonstrated experience using office/PM tools (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Power BI)
Demonstrated experience using testing tools (e.g., JIRA)
A passion for the WDI organization and what we create
Self-directed with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and trends
A disciplined, structured and comprehensive approach to work
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience developing using a modern IDE (e.g., Visual Studio, VS Code, Notepad++, SublimeText, etc.)
Experience using one of the popular SCM tools (i.e., Github, Gitlab, BitBucket, Subversion, etc.)
Knowledge of mobile development in iOS and/or Android
Knowledge of game development (e.g., Unity engine, Unreal engine, etc.)
Required Education :
Junior or Senior Level undergraduate student or recent graduate (within 6 months of graduation) pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or related field.

Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
The approximate dates of this internship are January 2019 - May 2019. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
