Job Summary:

To source the brightest and best entry level candidates for Accenture’s consulting & technology internship programs both with a focus on School Leavers & Early Engagement as well as undergraduates. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally ensuring our recruitment strategy is aligned with business need and we continue to attract high calibre STEM and non-STEM graduates seeking a career at Accenture.

What responsibilities will you have?

Includes but not limited to the following:

Recruitment:

  • Development and application of strategy relating to apprenticeships, gap year and undergraduate placements.

  • Development and application of Early Engagement Strategy.

  • Management and delivery of key calendar events including schools open days, UCAS fairs, insight weeks and university internships events

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining cross-industry employer events

  • Support graduate team leads on ad hoc projects as and when required

  • Management of third party partnerships, aiming to obtain the best ROI

  • Work with Recruitment Marketing to develop school level marketing and collateral including 6th form and below

  • Management of annual budget spend against forecast

  • Ensure recruitment strategy is in line with Accenture’s ambition to recruit a diverse talent pool (both gender and ethnicity)

Candidate Management:

  • Manage offer process and pipelines for all internships

  • Develop and implement a keep warm strategy for interns

  • Ensure timely onboarding for all intern start groups

  • Develop and run intern orientation and induction events

Relationship management:

Internal:

  • Manage stakeholder relationships (recruitment sponsors, student ambassadors, third party owners)

  • Recruitment team including Diversity Lead and Experienced Hire recruiters

  • Broader HR teams including Talent Supply Chain team, Accenture Learning Team, Field HR teams

  • Consulting managers and project leads responsible for interns

External:

  • Develop strong relationship with target schools with a focus on sourcing candidates for all internships

  • Develop and deliver new strategic objects with business partners, and 3 rd party contacts, relating to the promotion and sourcing for apprenticeships and internships

  • Management of third party suppliers/partners relating to school recruitment, focusing on social mobility

  • Manage candidate relationships throughout recruitment process (interns)

  • Manage relationships with school heads and careers services- including careers advisors, and departments

Team Management:

  • Supervision of one direct report (Junior Analyst Recruiter) – motivate, develop and manage day to day workload

HR rep responsibilities:

  • Process all required HR operational requirements for fixed-term contract interns

  • Provide guidance to interns on HR policy

  • Act as HR rep for designated interns, including performance management

  • Assist with the scheduling process for interns

Interviewing:

  • Review 1st round competency interviews for all areas

  • Conduct 2nd round assessment centres for all areas

  • Conduct ad-hoc interviews (Internal roles)

Project work:

  • Implement and manage Global initiatives that relate to interns/early engagement

  • Ad hoc projects/ responsibilities

Qualifications:

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Detailed knowledge of graduate recruiting processes, especially focusedon early engagement

  • Understanding of working in a professional services environment

  • Knowledge of graduate recruitment industry and student job search trends

  • Competitor awareness

  • Employment law regarding Selection and Assessment (e.g. data privacy,discrimination)

  • Knowledge of Selection and Assessment processes/best practice

  • Knowledge of graduate recruitment marketing strategies
