From innovation andengineering to community and culture growing to give is at the heart of everyFor more information visit - in managing inventory of all physical and digital device data andaccessoriesAssist with the creation and maintenance of new and existing product data suchas CAD, physical data, devices, etc.Support collaboration with multiple departments to create prototypes fordevices and other new productsSupport technical audits of all devices and dataAssist in the operation of all 3D laser scanning (portable and fixed) andscan data processingAssist in reverse engineering of devices, components and/or other objectsusing physical measurements, laser scanning and CAD deviation analysis toolsAssist in the development of CAD assemblies and part components for Bill ofMaterialAssist with the maintenance and refinement of all 2D and 3D templates thatcreate parts, drawings, and assembliesCoordinate the creation and assembly of handcrafted prototypes based on theneeds of the requestor (cleaning, sanding, polishing, painting, etc.)May operate a variety of rapid prototyping equipment sets utilizing multiple3D printing technologies, laser cutters, forming and molding techniquesand other fabrication methodsMay assist with maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and/orcleaning all equipment in the labMaintain assembly templates and create assemblies for each projectAssist in the development and fabrication of test fixtures and jigsAdherence to shop safety and hazardous materials policiesSupport and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safetypolicies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe workingenvironmentOther duties as requiredQualifications* Associate s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.* Minimum two years of engineering and/or technical model making experienceincluding CAD required. Internship/externship experience may be considered.* Experience in laser scanning, reverse engineering, rapid prototyping,3D printing and/or additive manufacturing preferred.* Software experience: SolidWorks, Magics, E-Stage, GeoMagics(entire suite), Surveyor Scan Control and Adobe Illustrator preferred.* Experience in consumer products industry preferred.Otter Products is an equal employment opportunity employer (EEO).Apply Here:
