n GLOBAL n FOUNDRIES has a 201 9 Internship Position available at the Burlington Vermont site for a manufacturing engineer to work in a manufacturing engineering organization the supports the Factory daily operations. GLOBAL FOUNDRIES manufactures a wide variety of Foundry semiconductor products.

n

The FAB9 Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance organization is responsible for engineering support, development and continuous improvement of our factory operations.

n

This position is for a candidate that will graduate and be ready to enter the workforce within the next two years. This candidate must be enrolled in a BS/MS in Mechanical Eng, Chemical Eng, Electrical Eng, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering discipline.

n

Successful candidates will be comfortable leading improvement projects and working on a diverse team in a manufacturing environment. They will work in a dynamic collaborative environment requiring strong teaming skills with engineers, managers, technicians and production employees.

n

Essential Responsibilities:

n

• Support technology transfer to other fabricators.

n

• Ability to marry both the equipment and process sides ofissues, focusing on delivering the right results on product.

n

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

n

nQualificationsn

Required Qualifications :

n

• Currently Enrolled in an Accredited College and or University in Bachelors Program " Majoring in Engineering, Materials Science or Solid State Physics.

n

• Strong Academic Standing

n

• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)

n

Preferred Qualifications:

n

• Experience using Google collaboration tools

n

• Microsoft Excel Knowledge

n

• Strong Written & Verbal Communications Skills

n

• Attention to Detail

n

• Self-Motivated, able to take ownership of assignments, develop work plans and proactively seek feedback to ensure objective are aligned and met

n

• Team player, able to succeed in a dynamic, fast paced environment
