We’re seeking a Human Resources Professional to join our team in downtown Chicago .
Work with management and supervisors to establish a plan to meet their hiring needs, including assisting with compiling and identifying position duties and requirements
Coordinate job postings across multiple job boards, review resumes to evaluate qualifications and eligibility of applicants, screen candidates through telephone interviews, present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
Schedule and conduct candidate meetings and interviews.
Extend offers of employment and coordinate relocation when applicable.
Assist with onboarding paperwork for new-hires and verify all documents are completed thoroughly and accurately.
Maintain timely and accurate candidate records using applicant tracking software.
Interpret and explain company policies and procedures to staff.
Answer general employee benefits questions.
Assist with HR department research requests pertaining to policies, recruitment, and/or training.
Prepare employment records related to hiring, terminations, leaves, transfers, or position changes.
Conduct exit interviews.
Compile and prepare HR-related status reports as requested.
Handle special Human Resources projects as assigned.
Required skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management with a major in Human Resources or a related field.
Thorough working knowledge of labor laws
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
Familiarity with internet sourcing skills, such as Boolean search, and experience with some of the following: LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or other job boards.
Function effectively in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
Willing to travel and work occasional overtime
Valued but not required skills and experience:
HR internship experience.
1 or more years of HR generalist experience.
Experience working with iCIMS.
