GEICO IT DevOps team is actively seeking a highly motivated CM/DevOps Engineer to both direct and work side by side with a team of talented DevOps engineers who support the organization.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Configuration Management Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, controlling, and coordinating the MSI Releases from Azure development to QA/Non-production and production environments. The primary objective is to ensure that the integrity of the production environment is protected and that the correct components are released by actively interacting with various stakeholders within the organization.
You will also lead day-to-day CM activities and work automating other activities in the release pipeline. The CM initiatives are targeted to implement, enhance and streamline the DevOps delivery processes to maintain the essential CM values with minimal impact on the development teams.

Candidate Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or equivalent work experience
Experience with ALM - Visual studio team services, minimum 3+ years, that covers defect tracking, source code control, requirement management and build automation
A minimum of five years of software development experience in large scale distributed environment
Develop and write powershell scripts in powershell version 4.0+ Candidate must have detailed understanding of all aspects of SDLC and Object Oriented (OO) technologies, design practices, and implementation approaches. A proven track record is a must
Self-motivated to identify and correct operational issues without guidance from management
Ability to lead technology related projects without guidance, ensuring operational excellence and proactive communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus people and interpersonal skills
Salary range $93K-$130K
