GEICO is seeking a motivated, professional, and detail oriented candidate for our Compliance and Regulatory Analyst position. As a member of the Underwriting Compliance team, you will analyze incoming regulations and insurance legislation to ensure the compliance of our underwriting processes countrywide. You will work with regional offices, IT, as well as legal and staff departments to evaluate our current systems, rules and procedures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will involve analysis and interpretation of how insurance laws, policies, contracts, and regulations impact GEICO. You will drive compliant solutions to complex business problems by identifying and establishing potential exposures and opportunities. You will review system requirements with an opportunity to propose improvements. You may also analyze and update forms, letters, and other customer communication. The ideal candidate will possess proven analytical skills and superior research skills. The successful candidate will be highly organized with strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to meet rigorous deadlines, lead meetings, and handle multiple projects concurrently. You must be self-motivated, with drive and energy to take charge of assigned projects.

· Completed Bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA (studies in Business Law, Insurance, Project Management, Risk Management, or related fields as may fit well with this position)
· Proven analytical skills
· Superior research skills
· Prior experience analyzing or interpreting regulatory and/or judicial findings
· Highly organized with superior writing and verbal communication skills
· Ability to coordinate work between a number of different departments across the organization
· Ability to lead projects from inception to implementation with little supervision
· Demonstrated leadership ability
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access)
· Experience using JIRA and SharePoint is preferred\
· Professional insurance education (CPCU) or willingness to pursue a plus
