We are looking for a Program Coordinator to join the Office of Student Leadership and Activities (OSLA). Reporting to the Director of Student Leadership and Activities, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, marketing, execution and assessment of campus wide late night and weekend programs. In collaboration with student organizations, the Program Coordinator will create and manage events designed to enhance student development and encourage an active campus life.
The Office of Student Leadership and Activities strives to provide inclusive, positive and comprehensive experiences to compliment the students curricular experience. The department serves as an integral part of the Division of Student Affairs and works closely with Multicultural Student Affairs, Office of Spiritual Life, Residence Life and Health, Wellness and Recreation.
Supervise and advise the Campus Activities Board (CAB) with all programs including concerts, comedians, films, and socials
Serve as an adviser for all students and/or student organization needs for OSLA
Advise the Student Government Association Judicial Cabinet and a Class Council
Supervise front office student staff and student box office support
Assist with managing the Student Box Office & MBTA Student Semester T Pass Program
Train and support student organizations on a variety of topics including program planning, College policies, and budgeting
Represent the department on committees and task forces as appointed
Support and work large-scale, campus-wide events including but not limited to: COF Block Party/After Party, COF Spring Week and Senior Week
Master?s degree a plus
1+ years of professional , internship, or graduate placement experience in higher education/student affairs or related field preferred
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity efforts embedded into the foundation of all programming and initiatives
Ability to work night and weekend activities and events
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of college student development principles
This is a full-time, live-in staff position.
