General Electric Talent Acquisition Intern in Bogota, Colombia

Role Summary:

An intern works on projects related to a particular function depending on their prior coursework and degree program. The successful candidate works on projects often requiring independent decision-making. These projects are normally scoped to last between 6 months to 1 year.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • The main project will be:

  • Support the Talent Acquisition leader for Colombia and Venezuela in our recruitment processes, University Relations projects and social media management

The intern will be able to participate in additional activities such as:

  • Development of PowerPoint presentations and other graphic presentations to communicate progress,share best practices, or to provide updates

  • May be asked to analyze data with excel or various other analysis tools

  • May be asked to take on certain aspects of a full time job within the function the intern is studying.For example, may be asked to write software code if in an engineering internship or might beasked to perform compensation analysis if in a HR internship

  • May be asked to participate in early talent events, seminars or training

  • Perform assignments where trust and accuracy are required


  • High School Diploma, GED or local equivalent

  • Current enrollment in a degree program that will lead to a bachelors or technical degree orequivalent in the function (or similar) in which the intern will work or a bachelors' degree ortechnical degree in the function (or similar)

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Bilingual (proficiency in English & Spanish languages)
