The Durability Test Coordinator’s responsibilities’ include but are not limited to reviewing design verification plans to ensure all appropriate testing deliverables are identified, verifying test plans and other test documentation is prepared. The Coordinator will prepare test schedules to meet program timing objectives and milestones, report weekly on test status and identify issues that are delaying implementation, approve usage for test properties and provide support to establish the best test plan and test sample size to evaluate and verify the reliability of the component or system. In addition, the Test Coordinator will provide support for root cause analysis, monitor bill of materials for durability testing and prioritize test articles for dynamometer test cell scheduling.The Durability Test Coordinators responsibilities also include the following:•Capture issues identified during engine tear down and vehicle reviews; and document as required•Coordinate testing and analysis•Chair Development Meetings, Participate in Board Review and CAE Meetings•Facilitate engine and vehicle teardown reviews•Maintain Master Test Plan, starting at MR1, for all Fiat/Chrysler owned testing (i.e.: Mechanical Development Tests, Component Durability Tests, Spin Rig Tests, Vehicle Tests, NVH Testing, etc.) engine programs of responsibility•Report test completion status for each test on the Master Test Plan via Glide-Path metrics•Manage PDS Incident Module to ensure all incidents are assigned to the appropriate department and individual, all like incidents are grouped, all incidents deemed to be issues are elevated to eCIMS, and that there are no more than 6 open incidents per programBasic Qualifications:•Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive industry with knowledge of engines or testing. This experience could include internship and/or co-ops•Experience with powertrain testing and data acquisition•Excellent communication skills•Attention to details•Experience with Advance Quality tools such as DFMEA, DVPR, Function Models•Excellent organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:•BSME or BSEE•Experience in Powertrain component releasingOur benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
