Vertical Solutions Consultant - Fraud
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States
The vertical solutions consultant is a subject matter expert with deep fraud and digital identity prevention knowledge within the financial services, retail/ecommerce and other industries. This important role assists sales with direct client interaction in order to advance the sales process.
Provides fraud prevention expertise by applying product and/or process to the client base within a specific vertical. Maintain pulse of the market while accomplishing and supporting market-planning goals. Drives revenue in the vertical through continuing education, consulting and support of the entire salesforce. Primarily focused on larger clients to develop strategy and written workflow documentation. Reports directly to the manager/director, vertical solutions consultants.
Interacts regularly with clients (both internal and external) to provide leadership, expertise and guidance in translating how recommended processes meet the client’s needs Develops and maintains an in-depth understanding of all client objectives. Performs the appropriate operational analysis and formats the results into a professional client presentation/workflow.
Understands and can articulate profit and loss analysis. Makes sound business decisions based on this data.
Responsible for identifying and communicating to management, sales professionals or other team members best practices within their specified industry.
Demonstrated experience effectively working in a team environment and developing strong internal relationships across multiple business units.
Expected to participate in and effectively lead the workflow presentation to the client via in person meetings, telephone or WebEx
Provide risk information, analytics and market specific knowledge and understanding of the proposed solution.
Collaborates with market planning and product management in the development of tactical plans to ensure execution against the strategic plan/vision for the particular market segment.
Document and communicate to market planning and product management new solutions and opportunity ideas obtained through interaction with client engagements. Document the potential revenue impact to build a business case for resource allocation.
Maintains good relationship with functional client contacts.
Coordinates with sales to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the sales pipeline.
Builds relationships with key client stakeholders and decision makers. Develops LexisNexis Risk Solutions advocates at clients that support our solutions.
Proactively identifies client opportunities across the business, adjacent markets, and other lines of business, new geographies and new use cases.
Develop new tools for highlighting performance; ROI/Profit Proposals, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business-related major or equivalent.
Travel: Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time.
Consultative Ability: Advanced consultative skills with the ability to collaborate and explore options, demonstrate and effectively use active listening skills to understand client needs and effectively apply proper solutions to optimize client workflow.
Industry Experience: 5-10 years with preferred industry experience. Minimum 4+ years of risk management experience or education/certification in a specific field.
Innovation: Advanced affinity to try new methods and new approaches to problem solving; ability to effectively communicate new ideas and approaches to leadership.
Leadership: Advanced ability to collaborate with others to assist in effectively setting direction, align constituencies, and motivate others.
Planning / Organization: Advanced organizational and project management skills.
Presentation Skills / Communication: Advanced oral and written communication skills; must be able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Advanced-level ability to deliver client presentations and performance analysis.
Problem Solving / Judgment: Advanced analytical and problem solving skills to solve complex business problems.
Product Knowledge: Aptitude to quickly understand and articulate LexisNexis Risk Solutions product set.
Relationship Building: Advanced relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate and interact effectively with internal and external clients including, but not limited to, market planning, sales, batch, XML, sales leadership and all internal clients.
Results Orientation: Expert-level time management skills and strict adherence to timelines, with the ability to operate within a structured approach and to deliver results. Possesses the ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently. Self-motivated.
Teamwork: Advanced ability to work in a team environment, by soliciting input and feedback. Deals effectively with conflict.
Other: Practical experience (or internship) experience in B2B. Proficient with Microsoft Office. CRM technology experience preferred. SmartDraw or Visio (or similar workflow software) experience preferred.
