Behavioral Health Works, Inc. Operations Intern - Unpaid in Anaheim, California

The Operations Intern will assist the department and provide support for all facilities and inventory maintenance needs. The Operations Intern will support the team with all administrative duties and provide assistance to our regional teams as needed. The Operations Intern reports directly to the Operations Director. This will be an unpaid internship for school credit. The internship will be for 6 months with the possibility to grow into a full-time position.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provides support to clinical staff by fulfilling staff requests including but not limited to PECS, Visual Aids, etc.

  • Support the Hospitality Concierge by managing phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.) and forwards phone calls and correspondence to appropriate parties.

  • Fulfills all other Operations Requests pertaining to administrative assistance requested by other departments.

  • Manages and prepares New Hire Materials prior to first day of training.

  • Prepares all shipments of New Hire Materials to regional offices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in assistant work

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Commitment to upholding the company’s mission and vision to the community

Preferred

  • Previous work experience in inventory maintenance, tracking and shipping and receiving
