DMI SMI Intern - Business Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Work under supervision, perform routine to moderately complex clerical, administrative and analytical duties. Work on assignments involving confidential nature and require a basic knowledge of the practices and procedures of the function. Assembly and analyze information, prepare and proofread reports, manuals, agendas, correspondence and memoranda. Plan layout of reports and statistical tables. Answer routine mail and inquiries follow ups with others to ensure that activities are coordinated. Use Word processing and spreadsheet software packages. Use database, graphics and desktop publishing applications and be able to conduct business analysis, market analysis, and competitive analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in internships conducting office duties, including communications and analysis

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

-Knowledge of business principles

-Knowledge of leadership and organizational dynamics

-Ability to operate mostly under limited supervision

-Ability to be comfortable in a variety of roles

-Ability to work on various work streams at once

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Scheduled to obtain BA or BS degree in the summer of 2020 or 2021
